Bee Day 2024 is less than a month away!

Bee Day is an educational beekeeping field day that takes place on April 20, 2024 at Bemis Honey Bee Farm. This is a free event that is open to the public. Workshops take place all throughout the day beginning at 9 am and ending at 4 pm. The workshops are instructed by highly experienced and educated beekeepers who are experts in the field of beekeeping.

Riverside Grocery and Catering will be back again with their food truck to sell delicious southern/American food. The truck will open at 10 am and serve until 3 pm, unless sold out sooner. The beekeeping supply store will be open for purchases.

This is also the pickup day for those who preordered packages and nucs. 

Some workshops will be held in our working beeyard. We ask that those who attend these talks wear protective clothing while in the beeyard.  

Honey bees will be freely flying during the event. If you are highly allergic to honey bees, please proceed with caution or do not attend.
