This class is a must when you are ready to increase your knowledge and skills in beekeeping beyond the beginner level. This course will involve understanding the complexity of the honey bee colony by examining healthy bee hives and hives afflicted with pests, pathogens, and problems. We will discuss seasonal hive management and bee-feeding strategies. We will also discuss honey bottling and marketing. If weather permits, we will conduct a hive inspection in the bee yard.
