The new and improved Apivar comes in packs of 4, 12, and 60 "easy rip" strips. Apivar only requires one easy application and can be used without temperature constraints. The long-term release of amitraz, during the treatment period, allows for multiple generations of Varroa mites to be effected with one application.
Application: Place 1 strip for every 5 frames of bees (typically 2 strips per brood chamber). Read and follow all instructions located on the label.
Do not use while honey (for human consumption) is still on the hive.
When left in its sealed package, Apivar has up to a two year shelf life after manufactured.
The consistent effectiveness of Apivar is between 96% and 99.8%
