Rita Peace Underhill Memorial Beekeeping Scholarship
In honor of Rita Underhill, a beekeeping scholarship has been created in her name to spread her love of beekeeping and education.
This scholarship is meant to help one aspiring individual get a successful start at Beekeeping. The winning applicant will receive everything needed to start one hive.
- One five frame deep Italian nuc
- One Deluxe Beekeeping Kit: woodenware, jacket, gloves, hive tool, smoker, feeder, bee brush, and beginner book.
- One registration for a beginner beekeeping class at Bemis Honey Bee Farm.
Applicant Criteria:
- Current Arkansas resident
- Age: 16 - 30 years old
- Has never owned a Honey bee colony
