2024 3LB Italian Hybrid Package | PICK UP ONLY : 4/20/24

PICK UP ONLY - pick up date: 4/20/24 at Bemis Honey Bee Farm | 10 am - 4 pm

The 3lb package contains around 10,000 Italian hybrid honey bees. (High quality Italians crossed with Carniolan and Buckfast.)The bees are kept in a wooden box with a wire screen along both sides to allow for ample airflow. The marked and mated queen is placed in a separate cage that is suspended at the top the package. Enclosed with the queen, are several worker bees that tend to her. The queen cage has a candy plug and two corks. A can of sugar water is included in the package to provide a constant source of feed.

We do not recommend leaving the bees in the package for more than two days before installation. Please read and follow all installation instructions that are available at pick up. Please pick up orders on the scheduled pick up date. We do not guarantee the quality of the package if it is picked up after the scheduled pick up date. We do not guarantee the health and survival of the bees once they have left our possession. 

Details on bee pick up and Bee Day will be emailed periodically throughout the spring. (Please check your spam folder.) Early pick up is not available. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Should the pick up date be rescheduled due to weather or any other unforeseen issues, you will be notified well in advance of the change. Once your order has been placed, your money will not be refunded. 

Due to the welfare of the bees, If the order is not picked up within three days of the scheduled pick up date, the order will be forfeited without a refund.
