The Cordovan honey bees are raised to be incredibly gentle, great honey producers, and mite resistant. This breed is popular among backyard beekeepers.
- 5 Deep frames total
- 2.5 - 3.5 frames of brood
- 4 drawn frames
- 5th frame foundation or drawn comb
- 3.5 - 4.5 frames of bees
- 1 + frame of food stores
- Unmarked queen
- Pro Nuc box
Please pick up orders on the scheduled pick up date. Early pick up is not available. We do not guarantee the quality of the product once picked up after the scheduled pick up date. Due to the common human errors made by new beekeepers, we do not guarantee the health and survival of the bees once they leave our possession.
Nucs will be loaded into your vehicle for you. If you have nuc bags, we will bag the nucs for you before they are loaded. Due to the design differences between manufactures, we will only bag nucs in nuc bags that are purchased from BHBF. The design of some bags significantly slow down the pick up line.
Details on bee pick up and Bee Day will be emailed periodically throughout the spring. (Please check your spam folder.) If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
Should the pick up date be rescheduled due to weather or any other unforeseen issues, you will be notified well in advance of the change. Once your order has been placed, your money will not be refunded.
Due to the welfare of the bees, If the order is not picked up within seven days of the scheduled pick up date, the order will be forfeited without a refund.
